Skype and Ubuntu 9.04
by Andrew Cullison - April 22nd, 2009. Filed under: Linux, Skype, Ubuntu.I’ve been running the release candidate of Ubuntu 9.04 - So far everything works great. The only issue I’ve run into is that Skype seemed to stop working.
The issue is easily fixed by changing some of the audio settings. Ubuntu 9.04 uses pulse audio, and you need to let Skype know that you want it to use these settings. Here’s a link that explains what to do. The steps are quick and easy.
